Alexandra Shipp

Alexandra Shipp has been a well-known actress over the years. She was born in Phoenix Arizona, United States on the 16th of July, 1991. She appeared as Victoria Justice's guest on Victorious the movie in 2012. Shipp made her debut in 2009, as a support actor for Alvin and the Chipmunks. The third season of Nickelodeon's mysterious teen drama series House of Anubis saw her playing KT as the main character. In 2014 Shipp gained attention for her performances in the role of Dani Raymond in the VH1 TV film sequel Drumline: A New Beat and Aaliyah Haughton in the lead role in the Lifetime TV film Aaliyah Aaliyah: The Queen of R&B. Shipp performed in the final performance. After portraying Ice Cube's Kimberly Woodruff she starred in Straight Outta Compton a biographical-drama film that followed the careers of N.W.A. In 2016, she appeared in Bryan Singer's film about superheroes X-Men: Apocalypse with Halle Berry in the role of Ororo Munroe/Storm, a climate-controlling mutant. In the year 2018, she appeared with Nick Robinson and Jorge Lendeborg Jr. in Love Simon and Kathryn Prescott and Lucy Hale in Dude both high school comedies. James is her twin brother. She played the character Danielle Dani Raymond in the 2014 TV film Drumline: A New Beat. Alexandra Ruth Shipp born 16 July 1991, is an American actor and songwriter. She became famous for playing real-life singer Aaliyah as well as Kimberly Woodruff respectively in Straight Outta Compton and Aaliyah the Princess of R&B, both on Lifetime.
